This week I feature another two of my favourite resources. The Center for Adaptive Schools and the Center for Learning Differences.
I’m a long time fan of the Center for Adaptive Schools http://www.adaptiveschools.com/. I think there are endless possibilities for applying the strategies they suggest with school teams in ways that build shared responsibility for student learning. They have recently published a new edition of their excellent book, The Adaptive School: A Sourcebook for Developing Collaborative Groups.
The Center for Learning Differences http://www.centerforlearningdifferences.org/ provides resources for families and professional dealing with learning issues. They are a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing information to families, physicians, and other professionals about issues they face in dealing with children who learn differently.
